Seattle Itinerary: 3 Days in the Emerald City
Visiting Seattle for a long weekend? Here’s what to do to make the most of three days in Washington’s most iconic city.

Day 1
- Start your day in Pioneer Square at Zeitgeist Coffee.
- Join the Underground Tour to discover Seattle’s hidden past.
- Savor artisan-cured meats at Salumi for lunch.
- For an afternoon outside, try kayaking on Lake Union for city views from the water.
- End your day enjoying Southwestern-Mexican cuisine at the lively Cactus in South Lake Union.

Day 2
- Begin with exceptional Italian coffee and pastries at Caffè Umbria in Ballard.
- Visit the Ballard Locks and explore the National Nordic Museum.
- Enjoy lunch at Ray’s Boathouse, featuring fresh, local seafood.
- For views, head to Queen Anne and journey to the top of the Space Needle or join the locals at Kerry Park.
- Dine at The Pink Door in Belltown, followed by a cocktail at Bathtub Gin & Co.

Day 3
- Enjoy French bistro classics at Café Campagne in Pike Place Market.
- Spend the morning walking through Pike Place Market, and wander along the shops and attractions on the waterfront.
- Take the water taxi from downtown to West Seattle. Have lunch at local favorite Alki Spud Fish and Chips.
- Walk along Alki Beach, soaking in the Seattle skyline across the water, before taking the water taxi back to downtown.
- For dinner, head to Capitol Hill and indulge in the Northern Italian cuisine at Osteria la Spiga, and later catch live music at Neumos.
