This sweepstakes (“Promotion”) is only open to residents in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

1. How to Enter: To enter, visit https://www.moon.com/landing-page/cruise-into-your-summer-adventure-sweepstakes/to fill out and submit the entry form. Entrants must enter all items in the entry form. Each entrant will get one entry per person per household. No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Hachette Book Group, Inc. (“Sponsor”), and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted, or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind in completing or submitting any entry form, whether mechanical, human, or electronic. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.

2. Eligibility: Participation in this Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years or older as of June 20, 2023 (the “Promotion Start Date”). Void outside of the United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and Cruise America Inc. (“Co-Sponsor”) and Sponsor and Co-Sponsor’s parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers, and distributors, and the immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, and spouses) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of any of the foregoing persons, are not eligible to enter this Promotion. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

3. Promotion Start/End Dates: Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on the Promotion Start Date and ends at 11:59 PM ET on July 21, 2023 (the “Promotion End Date”).

4. Random Drawing/Odds: On or about July 21, 2023, Sponsor will select one potential winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing.

5. Prizes: A total of one grand prize is available (the “Prize”), and one winner will be randomly selected to receive the Prize. The Prize includes:

The grand total ARV for the Prize is U.S. $1,196.73.

In the case of unavailability of any of the items comprising the Prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. All unspecified expenses are the responsibility of the winner. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Notification: The potential winner selected will be notified via email on or about July 24, 2023 and may be required to sign and return, where legal, an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (“Winner Eligibility Documents”) within seven days of notification. If any potential winner cannot be contacted within five days of Sponsor’s first notification attempt, if the Prize or any component thereof is returned as undeliverable, if any potential winner rejects the Prize, or in the event of any potential winner’s noncompliance with these Official Rules, the potential winner will forfeit the Prize, and an alternate potential winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon forfeiture of the Prize by any potential winner, no further compensation or prizes will be awarded to such potential winner.

7. Conditions: Participation in Promotion constitutes each entrant’s permission for Sponsor and Co-Sponsor to use his/her/their first name, city, and state for any purpose. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Co-Sponsor, each of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers, and distributors, and each of the foregoing’s employees, officers, and directors (collectively, “Released Entities”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense whatsoever arising from or in connection with (i) the Promotion; (ii) possession, acceptance, and/or use or misuse of the Prize or any component thereof; and (iii) any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, and/or merchandise delivery. There is no purchase required to participate in the Promotion, and any purchase does not increase the odds of winning.

8. Additional Terms: In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business or educational institution) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above in these Official Rules is prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor and Co-Sponsor, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers, and distributors, are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone, mail, or other communication malfunctions, errors, or failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; website, Internet, or Internet service provider unavailability; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause); or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled, or delayed computer transmissions, which, in each case, may limit one’s ability to enter the Promotion. Sponsor and Co-Sponsor, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers, and distributors, are not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend, or suspend this Promotion, should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Sponsor will select a potential winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor pursuant to this paragraph.

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or any related website. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Promotion or winning the Prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by (i) cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or (ii) intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants or Sponsor or Co-Sponsor representatives.

Any attempt by any entrant to deliberately damage any Sponsor or Co-Sponsor website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, each of Sponsor and Co-Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties: In no event will any Released Entity be responsible or liable for any damages or losses or any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of the Promotion and/or receipt of the Prize. In no event shall any Released Entity’s total liability to any entrant for any damages, losses, or causes of action exceed $10. Without limiting the foregoing, this Promotion and the Prize are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

10. Use of Data; Newsletters: Sponsor and Co-Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants through entry forms in accordance with their respective privacy policies available at https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/terms-and-policies/privacy-policy/ and https://www.cruiseamerica.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant hereby agrees to (i) Sponsor’s and Co-Sponsor’s collection and usage of the personal information submitted by such entrant through the entry form for this Promotion, in accordance with each of Sponsor’s and Co-Sponsor’s respective privacy policies, and (ii) be subscribed to each of Sponsor’s and Co-Sponsor’s newsletter and email subscription lists (with the understanding that such entrant can unsubscribe to such newsletter and email subscription lists at any time by following the directions in such newsletter and email subscription lists or as set forth in Sponsor’s and Co-Sponsor’s respective privacy policies). Each entrant understands that unsubscribing to Sponsor’s and Co-Sponsor’s newsletter and email subscription lists will have no effect on such entrant’s eligibility to enter the Promotion and/or on such entrant’s chances of winning the Promotion.

11. Winner List: To obtain the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope within six weeks after the end date of the Promotion to Avalon Travel, 1700 Fourth Street, Berkeley CA 94710.
