Heading north of Niagara Falls [1] on Robert Moses Parkway, you’ll pass Whirlpool State Park (Robert Moses Pkwy., 716/278-1770, open year-round, free), offering great views of a giant, swirling whirlpool, and Devil’s Hole State Park (Robert Moses Pkwy., 716/278-1770, open year-round), situated along the Niagara River’s lower rapids. Both parks feature hiking trails.
