Though no longer the dynamic marketplace it once was, this Old World landmark (999 Broadway, near Fillmore Ave., 716/893-0705, http://broadwaymarket.org [1], 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Sat.), founded in 1888 in the heart of Buffalo [2]’s Polish neighborhood, still sells fresh ethnic foods. Over 40 vendors hawk everything from homemade soups and potato dumplings to chickens’ and pigs’ heads.
