Located near downtown is one of the area’s most popular B&Bs, the handsome Rosewood Inn (134 E. 1st St., 607/962-3253, www.rosewoodinn.com [1], $110–185). The five guest rooms and two suites are outfitted with antiques and have private baths. Downstairs is an elegant parlor with a fireplace, where afternoon tea is served.
Hillcrest Manor (Corner of 4th and Cedar Street, 607/936-4548, corninghillcrestmanor.com; $155–185 for fireplace suite) located in an 1890’s Greek Revival mansion is a showplace for the area’s art which first drew the owners to visit Corning [2].
