A hit with kids, Brooklyn Children’s Museum (145 Brooklyn Ave., Crown Heights, 718/735-4400, www.brooklynkids.org [1], 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Wed.–Fri., 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sat.–Sun., $7.50 per person, children under one free) is the first of its kind: a dedicated children’s museum. Started in 1899, it underwent a complete renovation in 2008 and is now a green building.
Hands-on activities explore Brooklyn [2]’s diversity through the World Brooklyn exhibit and lets kids get physical in Totally Tots.
