HOURS: Tues.–Sat. 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Sun. 1–5 p.m.

The ginger cookies, sugar cakes, and sweet breads ($1.55–6.50) that are baked fresh every morning at Winkler Bakery are still made using the same ingredients and techniques that the Moravians used when the bakery first opened in 1807.

The bakery is located in Old Salem [2] and staffed by costumed bakers who prepare all of the baked goods from scratch.
