Great Outdoor Provision Co. started out as a 120-square-foot retail shack in Carrboro, North Carolina, in 1972. Almost four decades later, it has grown into one of the most popular homegrown outdoors-gear retailers in the Carolinas.

There are seven locations, including the log cabin in Charlotte [2], which stocks all things related to the outdoors from camp stoves and tents to wicking underwear and hiking boots.
