Playing dress-up isn’t just for little girls—at least not at Ooh-La-La’s. At the family-owned teahouse, all guests are encouraged to choose colorful hats and feather boas from the extensive collection before sitting down to afternoon tea.

The highlight of day is not the tea itself (the same selection of flavored Stash teas is offered at the Starbucks down the street), but the plates of goodies—think cucumber tea sandwiches, fresh scones, and sinful pastries—and the fun of dining while dressed in a leopard-print hat festooned with black lace.
