Before it was a pizzeria, Revolution served as a boardinghouse and private residence. It was built in 1906 as the home for a prominent local doctor, Thomas Costner, and is still known as the Costner House [2]. The Queen Anne home remains much of its original charm, so be sure to take in the gabled roof, flared eaves, and oversized front porch while ordering a slice and a beer.
The menu includes red and white pies with all of the traditional toppings and a few creative choices like niçoise olives, grilled-vegetable ratatouille, smoked provolone, aged gouda, and white truffle oil. It’s not just a pizza joint; the menu also has salads, sandwiches, and small plates.
