From Vancouver [1], it’s an easy drive through the Fraser River Valley to Hope [2], from where Highway 3 branches east to Manning Provincial Park [3] and then on to the Okanagan Valley. From Hope, it’s 220 kilometers (137 miles) to Penticton [4], but it’s worth the extra time to enter the Okanagan Valley through its southern reaches at Osoyoos [5].
