Camping

Enjoying a pleasant location just over two kilometers (1.2 miles) north of the village, Riverside RV Resort (8018 Mons Rd., 604/905-5533, www.whistlercamping.com [1], $35 tents, $57 RVs and trailers) is the only campground within town boundaries. It offers a modern bathroom complex (with in-floor heating), putting course, playground, hot tub, laundry, small general store, and a café (daily from 7 a.m.).

Out of town, the closest campgrounds are in Brandywine Falls Provincial Park, 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) south, and Nairn Falls Provincial Park, 28 kilometers (17.4 miles) north. Both are open April–November and charge $15 per night.
