South of Downtown

Officially divided into 18 municipalities, the City of Vancouver [1] encompasses the entire peninsula, including the area south of downtown, a largely residential area that extends west to Point Grey and the University of British Columbia [2]. Vancouver’s three largest museums and a number of public gardens lie south of downtown. This is the area of the city covered by this section.
