False Creek, the narrow tidal inlet that almost cuts downtown off from the rest of the city, has been transformed from an industrial wasteland to an attractive area of waterfront parks and a bona fide tourist attraction. If you walk from downtown, B.C. Place (777 Pacific Blvd., 604/669-2300), the world’s largest air-supported domed stadium, is a worthwhile stop.
