The main attractions in Cooper Landing [1] are Kenai River fishing and float trips. Several raft companies offer a 14-mile ride to Jim’s Landing, which includes some Class II rapids at Schooner Bend. Three-hour float trips cost around $50, and all-day Kenai trips run $145 or so from:

Alaskan Horsemen Trail Adventures (907/595-1806 or 800/595-1806, www.alaskahorsemen.com [6]) leads trail rides into the scenic country around Resurrection Trail and Cooper Landing.
