Northwest Portland [1] begins just north of downtown across Burnside Street. Three of the city’s most vibrant dining districts are here, within minutes of downtown hotels. Old Town also encapsulates historic Chinatown [2] and is a hotbed of music clubs and late-night bars. The Pearl District [3] is a high-rise loft residential and retail district with some of the city’s top restaurants.
The Portland Streetcar travels through the Pearl District, linking it with downtown. Another restaurant destination is along NW 21st and 23rd Avenues [4], two pedestrian-friendly streets that are at the heart of an attractive 19th-century neighborhood.
Parking is very limited here, so if you’re downtown, consider taking a cab or the Portland Streetcar to this popular dining mecca.
