A Tiki island of cocktails and pan-Asian synergy, Saucebox (214 SW Broadway, 4:30 p.m.–close Tues.–Fri., 5 p.m.–close Sat., $11–22) isn’t sure whether it’s a high-style restaurant or an atmospheric dance club. One thing’s for certain: The cutting-edge small plates–style Asian cooking is great. Come early to enjoy zippy Thai curries, grilled lamb satay, spicy meatballs, crisp-fried noodles, and Korean pork ribs, or come late to dance and snack. Be sure to check out the cocktails, as this is one of the city’s top spots for inventive libations.
