Also known as the “the lines are too long in the rest of the park” area of Animal Kingdom [1], Rafiki’s Planet Watch is well intentioned but pretty inconsequential. Unfortunately, it’s also pretty inconvenient.
To get here, guests must board the Wildlife Express Train for a five-minute ride, only to be greeted by a five-minute walking trail to the actual site.
The educational facility offers live animal encounters, a few interactive exhibits, and a peek at the park’s behind-the-scenes veterinary work in the Conservation Station; there’s also the Affection Section petting zoo. And yeah, that’s it.
