The Magic Kingdom is what many people mean when they talk about going to Disney World. It’s not only the resort’s original park, it’s also the one with the most signature attractions. From the spires of Cinderella Castle and the thrills of Space Mountain to meet-and-greets with Mickey Mouse and the halcyon Americana conjured up in Adventureland [1] and Frontierland [2], this park most vividly bears the imprint of Walt Disney’s clean-cut imaginative vision of what an American theme park should look, sound, and feel like.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (selected dates Sept.–Oct.) and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (selected dates Nov.–Dec.) are separately ticketed events that transform the park into a holiday-themed nighttime experience complete with special parades, shows, and fireworks displays; most attractions and rides are operational during these events. Ticket prices change annually but are typically less than a single-day single-park admission ticket.
