First opened by current owner Mark Bahti’s father, Tom Bahti, in 1952, Bahti Indian Arts, though no longer in its original location, is now the oldest shop of its kind in the Old Pueblo [2].

The small shop at St. Philip’s Plaza, sells some of finest examples of Navajo, Hopi, and Pueblo textiles, kachinas, jewelry, basketry, pottery, paintings, and sculptures in the state, as well as an assortment of art and artifacts from tribes outside the Southwest. Mark himself is a noted expert on Native American art, as his father was before him.
