Frank’s is the best greasy spoon in Tucson [2], and perhaps the greasiest. Their motto, displayed proudly on a roadside sign out front, is Elegant Dining Elsewhere. You can sit at a rickety table inside or on the patio, or belly-up to the bar and watch your hash browns cook on the grill.
The breakfast menu has all you’d expect, with the addition of Mexican favorites, which are highly recommended—there’s nothing like getting all spiced up early in the morning. This small place draws a big crowd on weekend mornings, so have patience.
