In 2005, San Juan [1] launched Tren Urbano, its first long-awaited commuter train service. The system runs mostly aboveground and has 15 stations, many of which house a terrific collection of specially commissioned public art. The train connects the communities of Bayamón, the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras, Hato Rey, and Santurce at Sagrado Corazón University.
