Restaurante Mang Ying (9 a.m.–9:30 p.m. daily), on the boulevard near Hotel Quan [1], serves up heaping plates of chop suey, chow mein, and other dishes at reasonable prices.

Out on the highway, about one kilometer south of Comayagua [2], is El Torito (tel. 504/772-7113, 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5:30–10 p.m. daily), serving up very good and hugely portioned beef, pork, and chicken dishes at midrange prices.
