Mountain Biking in the Sierra Merendón

The Sierra Merendón is crisscrossed with dirt roads and trails that make for great mountain-bike adventuring. From San Pedro, bikers can simply head west on 1 Calle past Avenida Circunvalación, through La Primavera neighborhood right into the forest, and up steep dirt roads into the mountains. Some roads eventually end up in Buenos Aires and Cusuco National Park [1], while others branch off northward to Puerto Cortés [2].
