Accommodations

Las Guacamayas [1] has a wide variety of lodging, making it accessible for visitors of all budgets. At the top end are suites (US$85–95 d) with king-size bed, mini-fridge, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas, including a hammock and views of the river. Standard units (US$55–90) are either double or triple occupancy, with or without a river view. All have fans, private hot-water bathrooms, and covered patios, some with hammocks, great for chilling out between trips.

For travelers on a budget, there are two small but comfortable shared cabañas (US$15–18 pp) with common hot-water bathrooms. Camping is also permitted (US$5 pp with own gear, US$7 pp without) with access to toilets and cold-water showers.
