Film Festivals

São Paulo [1] hosts some terrific and extremely well-organized film festivals. E Tudo Verdade (It’s All True) (www.itsalltrue.com.br [2]) is an international documentary film festival held in late March/early April.

Anima Mundi (www.animamundi.com.br [3]), held in late July, is Latin America’s biggest animated film festival, featuring creative short and long features along with television cartoons, commercials, and cyber creations.

The Mostra Internacional de Cinema de São Paulo (www.mostra.org [4]) has become one of the world’s foremost film festivals, with screenings of more than 600 long features and 60 shorts from all over the world. It takes place in late October.
