Costa Verde

Stretching south from Rio de Janeiro [1] to the state of São Paulo [2] is one of southern Brazil [3]’s most captivating and (for the time being) unspoiled coastlines. Costa Verde (Green Coast) is an apt name: Not only do the clear Atlantic waters sparkle in hues of turquoise and jade, but the sugary white-sand beaches are invariably backed by verdant jungle-covered mountains.
