One of this neighborhood’s few bars, Bar e Restaurante Urca (Rua Cândido Gaffré 205, Urca, tel. 21/2295-8744, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Mon.–Sat., 11 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Sun.) is among the most scenic botequins [1] in Rio [2]. A recent renovation restored its 1930s facade and spruced up the interior. Fortunately, the view over the Baía de Guanabara remains bewitching. On Saturdays, a traditional feijoada is served.
