Despite Devonshire [1]’s tranquility, there are a few parish bars, and all deliver very different nightlife experiences.
The bar at Ocean View Golf Club [2] (2 Barkers Hill, tel. 441/295-7041) is a friendly place to stop in, if only to inhale the gorgeous North Shore view.
Visitors are welcome at Police Recreation Club (Headquarters Hill, Prospect, bar tel. 441/299-4261), where members of the Bermuda police service socialize after hours.
Somewhat rowdier are Mid-Atlantic Boat & Sports Club (37 North Shore Rd., tel. 441/295-0172 or 441/296-2697) and the bar at Devonshire Recreation Club [3] (20 Frog Ln., tel. 441/292-5539), with festivities peaking on Friday and Saturday nights.
