A North Hamilton favorite is Fish Hut (Court St., at Angle St. junction, tel. 441/292-3267, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Mon.–Sat.), where fish dinners, wahoo sandwiches, and fish cakes are all on the menu. Just down the street, Fish & Tings (45 Angle St., tel. 441/292-7389, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Mon.–Thurs., 10 a.m.–11 p.m. Fri. and Sat.) specializes in Jamaican dishes, like fish curries, stews, and jerk everything.
The Lobster Pot (6 Bermudiana Rd., tel. 441/292-6898, 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Mon.–Fri., 5:30–10 p.m. Sat., 6–10 p.m. Sun.) has been a beloved fixture of this corner of Hamilton for decades, and it still has one of the island’s most enjoyable bars, as well as an atmospheric dining room, where you might as well be below deck on a sumptuous ocean liner. Fresh Bermuda or Maine lobsters and pan-fried rockfish, snapper, and grouper make this one of the island’s best seafood venues.
Barracuda Grill (5 Burnaby Hill, tel. 441/292-1609, www.barracuda-grill.com [1], lunch noon–2:30 p.m. Mon.–Fri., dinner 5:30–10 p.m. daily) continues to make a splash on Bermuda’s foodie scene, with a cutting-edge interior and outstanding seafood, steaks, and chops. Pork belly pierogies ($11), Kobe beef satay ($13), grilled wahoo ($33), lobster fettuccine ($30) and organic roasted lamb ($38) are among the favorites. Don’t miss the chocolate banana bread volcano, either.
