Add two shipwrecked souls to Sandy Spit and you have the desert island depicted in so many cartoons. It takes about five minutes to walk around the island, which consists of a beach and palm tree. This is a popular stop for charter boats, day sails, and day-trippers from Jost Van Dyke [1]. You can also kayak here from the east end of Jost Van Dyke.
