There are three major marinas on Virgin Gorda [1]. Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour (The Valley, 284/495-5500, www.vgmarina.biz [2]) is a 111-slip, full-service marina and boatyard just south of St. Thomas Bay, the ferry terminal in the Valley. Overnight rates vary, $1–2.50 per foot, per day, and go down if you stay for a week, a month, or longer. If you’re in transit, you can dock here free for 30 minutes and at $10–15 for each hour after that depending on size. There are moorings outside the marina; pay for them at the Yacht Harbour.
At North Sound [3], Leverick Bay Resort (284/495-7421, www.leverickbay.com [4]) has 25 slips with a controlling draft of 22 feet. Amenities include fuel, water, laundry, Internet access, a hotel, restaurant, and chandlery. Yachts can stop in here for a few minutes at no cost. Or try Bitter End Yacht Club (284/494-2745, www.beyc.com [5]), which has 20 slips and a draft of 30 feet. Bitter End is a full-service marina, including a repair shop, with all the expected amenities except laundry service.
Saba Rock Resort (North Sound, 284/495-7711, www.sabarock.com [6]) has overnight slips and moorings, electricity, water, and boater rates for its hotel rooms.
