The Valley

The marina is the shopping hub of the Valley. Shops here cater to visitors and residents; there are souvenir shops right next to food markets and banks. Dive BVI (284/495-5513) has a good selection of snorkel and dive equipment, plus T-shirts and gifts with a nautical theme. Check out Thee Artistic Gallery (284/495-5104) for crafts and books and the Virgin Gorda Craft Shop (284/495-5137) for local crafts. There are also stores selling perfume, electronics, local music, and a wide range of souvenirs.

There is also a clutch of gift shops at the top of the Baths [4] where you can buy T-shirts, Caribbean spices, sarongs, sunscreen, disposable cameras, and gifts. Among them: On the Rocks Beachtique, which sells T-shirts, sarongs, and jewelry. On the beach, check out Island Silhouette, purveyor of hand-painted ceramics and other items.

North Sound

Bitter End Yacht Club (284/495-9448) has several shops. The Reeftique has clothing, books, and gifts, while the Trading Post has postcards, magazines, film, sunscreen, and the like.

On Saba Rock [5], The Saba Rock Nautical Museum (284/495-9966) is part museum, part gift shop. Here you can see artifacts collected by diving legend Bert Kilbride and buy wreck-inspired jewelry and gifts. At Leverick Bay, there is a Pusser’s Company Store (284/495-7369), which sells resort-wear and nautical-themed gifts and accessories.
