The 2.6-mile Leinster Bay Trail, often considered two separate trails, connects the Emmaus Moravian Church in Coral Bay [1] with Annaberg Plantation [2] on the north coast.
From Annaberg, the trail follows the shoreline of Leinster Bay [3] for 0.8 mile before striking out over Leinster and Base Hills, past the ruins of a great house. The hike includes several flat sections, as well as steep uphill and downhill segments as you prepare to enter Coral Bay [4].
Seven-tenths of a mile past Leinster Bay, the Brown Bay Trail veers off and heads to remote Brown Bay. The Johnny Horn Trail finishes at the driveway of the Moravian Church. At the end, only the sturdiest of hikers would want to turn around and hike back the way they came.
