St. Peter Great House

You can tour a luxurious great house overlooking Magen’s Bay [1] at St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens (St. Peter Mountain Rd., 340/774-4999, www.greathouse-mountaintop.com [2], 8 a.m.–4 p.m. daily, $10 adults, $5 children). The great house, which is also used for private functions and parties, is decorated with the work of local artists. Guests get a free rum punch with their admission, which you can enjoy on the balcony overlooking the north shore.
