Hands down, Twist & Shout is Denver [2]’s favorite independent music store. The store has joined the Tattered Cover Book Store [3] at the Lowenstein Theater complex on Colfax Avenue, and it’s better than ever. Shoppers can hang out and comfortably listen to tunes before purchasing and the sales staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, or can find someone who knows even more.

There are frequent free live music performances at the store, so check their website often to see if your favorite band is playing.
