Departing from behind REI [2], just off of 15th and Platte Streets, the Platte Valley Trolley is a quirky tour of Confluence Park [3] and the businesses along this stretch of the South Platte River, including the Children’s Museum [4]. Perhaps more interesting than the actual sights is the history of this open-air car, a “breezer,” and the fact that there used to be an entire trolley-car system throughout the city.
The trolley runs four days per week Memorial Day through Labor Day, and three days per week April to Memorial Day and Labor Day through Halloween.
