HOURS: Daily noon–5 p.m.
Unusual and surprising, right in the middle of Denver [2] there is not only a winery but a vineyard. The Balistreri Vineyards make some of their wines from grapes grown on Colorado’s Western Slope, where there is a growing wine industry, but they also squeeze enough out of their own Denver vineyard to produce their cabernet sauvignon, muscat, and merlot. The winery produces 4,500 cases annually.
Tours include complimentary tastings and visits to the wine cellar and winemaking facilities.
