What makes the Tesoro Foundation’s Indian Market and Powwow worth the drive up to Morrison is the location. The market is held on outdoor patios of The Fort [1] restaurant where artisans display their wares in individual tents and booths.

The powwow takes place in an open field behind the restaurant. The setting, combined with the sounds of Native American drumming and chanting, transports visitors to another time and place to truly absorb the unique experience that is a celebration of the West, Southwest, and Native American cultures.

This is usually a two-day event in mid-May with performances scheduled at different times each day.
