One of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the United States is held in Denver [3] every spring in a two-day event. It’s a chance to eat Mexican food and enjoy Mexican music while learning more about the culture.
The organized festival takes place at Civic Center Park [1], but the Highlands neighborhood, where there is a significant Latin American population, is also a hot spot for the weekend of or near May 5 every year. This often translates to streets clogged with cruisers waving Mexican and American flags.
