The hundreds of tequilas to choose from at Mezcal make it the place to come for margaritas or shots. The place is done up in a Mexican movie madness theme, with posters of bodacious Latinas on the walls and Mexican church candles flickering.

Across the street from the Bluebird Theater [2], Mezcal attracts concertgoers as well as neighborhood locals who can’t get enough of the $1 tacos after 10 p.m. Parking can be very limited on nearby side streets and along Colfax Avenue.
