Since a 2006 state law was passed to prohibit smoking in bars and restaurants, about the only place it is legal to smoke inside is a cigar bar, such as the Churchill Bar in the Brown Palace Hotel [2].
The Churchill Bar has the feel of an old gentleman’s club, with large brown leather chairs in a quiet room tucked away from the bustle of the hotel lobby and other restaurants. They offer a selection of 60 cigars as well as scotches, bourbons, and other cocktails.
