Authentic Japanese peasant food is a rarity not only in Denver [2], but probably in the rest of the country too. Not far from the edge of downtown is this Japanese garden oasis, with its small ponds, burbling fountains and blossoming trees, and a unique menu of fresh seafood and “sea vegetables,” along with a menu of artisan sake. On one side of the garden is a folk art museum, which rounds out the field trips hosted here for children.
Domo has a tea menu as well, for anyone who just wants to get away from the city and sip tea in this little garden. Their sushi presentations are works of art.
