The best seasons to visit Baltimore [1] are spring and fall. May and June bring warm, bright skies and gardens in bloom, and there’s lots to do, from street festivals to baseball games to biking. September and October’s cooler weather brings relief after a long, hot summer; fall is a great time to take advantage of the city’s walkable terrain or go leaf-peeping out in the country.
Summer is very hot and humid and can make being outside (during the worst days) unbearable. The heat doesn’t last all summer, though, and beautiful, merely “warm” days are common. Winter usually begins mildly here, though cold spells in January and February are common (but brief), as is the odd February snowstorm.
