Venture just a block south of bustling, bar-and-restaurant-filled O’Donnell Square and you’ll find a regular-looking row house with a white stone corner entrance and a suspiciously contemporary green door; this is the Inn at 2920, a hidden gem of a boutique hotel. The inn’s five guest rooms feature lots of exposed brick, sleekly designed (but comfortable) furniture and bedding, and an inviting sitting and common area. There’s also free parking, which is a big plus in Canton, which can be a nightmare on Saturday nights.
It’s probably the coolest little hotel in the entire city, and a great place to blend into Baltimore [2] like a local—one who lives in a fantastic, modern rehabbed row house. It’s a short walk to the water, and Fell’s Point is a good 15- to 20-minute walk to the west (or a very short, and flat, bike ride away).
