302 Woodbrook Ln.
This is the city park (though it lies in Baltimore County, Baltimore City owns it) for dog lovers, despite what you might think having been to some other parks. Acres of wooded trails and the Jones Falls (plus the shores of Lake Roland) are a paradise for a stroll and a frolic, though the light rail trains blow through the park and are not behind a fence, so use caution when crossing the tracks.
If you’re not a fan of dogs, this is probably not the best place to get away from it all, as this park is usually teeming with happy-go-lucky (and often illegally unleashed) canines and their owners. And yes, it’s named for the Confederate general; Baltimore’s [1] Confederate-sympathizing proclivities are always lurking around.
