The annual Night of 100 Elvises, which raises money for the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, is actually held on two nights, owing to its popularity (inevitably on the first Friday and Saturday in December).
This massive homage to everything Elvis features a massive array of Elvis tribute artists (don’t call them impersonators), bands playing Elvis songs, fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, dancing—as well as a lounge, a bar and karaoke area, and a building packed with happy guests mingling with Elvises and Santa Claus and Vegas-style showgirls.
It’s been covered by the Discovery Channel and Japanese television, and there’s nothing else like it in America.
