An die Musik is a fantastic classical and jazz CD and LP store, and it’s also one of the most enchanting places to catch a jazz show. It’s no smoky subterranean groove cellar, though; it’s the second floor of a cool, modern renovation in the heart of downtown.
Big, comfortable chairs are the standard here, and the acoustics of the room are outstanding. Owner Henry Wong also manages to lure a very high caliber of players here, which draws the real cognoscenti.
