Head for the once-operational lighthouse along Canton’s waterfront—home to yachts and condos—and don’t wear your best shirt or blouse, because you’re going to be working for your dinner. Crabs are available year-round at Bo Brooks, steamed and then seasoned with spices, then brought to your brown-paper-wrapped table, along with wooden mallets and knives and lots of napkins (there are other menu items to chose from as well).
The great crabs and the stellar view mean this is one of the few restaurants in town that’s popular with both locals and tourists, and it’s hard to find an unhappy customer here. Reservations for one of the prime outdoor seats on the side of the restaurant are a must, especially during nice weather.
