Located at the base of Broadway, Shucker’s is a big bar and restaurant that caters to sports fans and tourists with plentiful TVs and party music, respectively. It’s their sweeping outdoor dining section that makes this place worth visiting, because the panoramas of the Inner Harbor’s interior are quite impressive. The menu does spice up some basic dishes (basil tuna, shrimp-topped rib eye) and offers something for almost every palate (stick with the basics and you’ll be rewarded).
But the real action’s not on the menu; there’s no better place to watch the Water Taxis and pleasure boats slowly pull in to the Broadway Pier—or, later in the evening, chuckle at the crowds of intoxicated revelers who flock to Fell’s Point on weekend nights.
